Today CES Kindergarten, first and second graders attended the first after school art lesson given by the Panhandle Plains Museum. Students made the first letter of their name with painters tape and used water colors to paint the entire paper. The Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum received a grant to have an after school art program for elementary schools in the Panhandle this year. Childress Elementary was chosen as one of the schools to participate in the program. They will come to Childress Elementary to have the classes.
